Finally got the car back home Though it took some time and cash getting it started It's a '71 Comet GT, Grabber Lime, 302-C4.. Still can't stop smiling, it was just awesome!
There was a lime green comet gt for sale at a car lot about 10 miles from my house about 5 years ago.It was there about a month, sold on ebay but I still look at that lot every time I go by, He was asking 2500 , it needed a little work but I would have liked to had it
Was working on the Comet yesterday, and managed to get a few shots before it started raining. Don't really know how I'm able to show them in the thread so I just uploaded them to my gallery Also, I was kinda wondering about something; I was going to put the p/s pump on it again, but after a while I found out there's a part missing, a bracket of some sort to be more precise, between the pump and the enginge block Does anyone have a pic of how it looks like? I most likely will have to fabricate it myself, as the only Ford's at the junkyards over here are Sierra's end Escorts
Damn nice car!!! I'm sure someone on here could find you a bracket. A lot of cars being parted out these days.
Thanks, sure love it myself Was kinda thinking; wouldn't that bracket be universal, like for all sbf's? Also, would anyone happen to have a copy of the Chilton Mav/Comet manual to spare? Realized I really need to get that as well
