Went to the Horsepower and HotRods car show today and ran into the guys from a local mustang salvage place they guarantee it too.
Think that is a fair price. I have asked at other yards and they get around 800 for this setup but all used parts.

Are these the guys from up in Dandridge?I bought a motor a few years back from them. They said it run good, just had a lot of miles, but when it was tore down, almost all the rings were broken. But I had planned on a rebuild anyway,$200 for a roller longblock was still a good deal to me.

yep, This is what I am thinking of going to. I do have everything to put a T-10 in.
Stopped by the pull-a-part on the way home and looked at the explorers. every one of them that had rear discs had the calipers and axles removed....but the emergency brake setup was still atached.

Seems high to me... but that's because I can get a T5 from a junkyard for around $200
