I've had my mav for about 5 weeks now and I didn't have a chance to do much to it for the first few weeks, but in the last few days I've actually had a chance to do some things and I must say that I am getting excited about finally having a muscle(ish) car. For years I've been working on cars, but they were all japanese cars like nissans, toyotas, hondas......it's so nice to work on a vehicle without all of the computers and stuff you don't need. Anyway here's my plans for my mav:

Paint interior and exterior black with some red details
Clean up and add chrome trim pieces
Put wide wheels and tires on the back, thin on the front
    B&M Megashifter
    Transgo shift kit
    Bucket seats w/console
    Side runner exhaust pipes
    Raise back end slightly
    Replace radiator
Buy another I6 motor, build it up with performance internals, then drop it in
Possibly hook up my t3 turbo
    Most likely small nitrous kit

That's about all that I want to do to it at the moment. It's not going to be really fast or anything, but as long as it has some good acceleration and handles pretty good then I'm happy.

Go for it man!! You'll never get it done if you don't try it! So keep on with your plans, and it'll come together for you. Don't be discouraged if things happen, just keep going. TAke care, Country Mav
