Hey guys, I have a friend in Georgia who is looking for a Maverick, and being a "car guy" he asked me for some tips on what to look for in one, besides the "normal" stuff what else should he be aware of when look at a Mav? I've been reading through the posts on your forum and have seen how much work there is in converting from the I-6 to the V8, something to stay away from? I found these on autotrader... http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/5/4/69974254.htm http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/6/8/70431468.htm 1973 FORD MAVERICK RARE 302 V8, AUTO., AM/FM AIR, 2-DOOR, NEW TIRES, ALL NUMBERS MATCH, ALL ORIGINAL TO HUB CAPS, LOOKS, RUNS & DRIVES GOOD, ONE OWNER, $2, 500. +(LITHONIA) 770-482-9019 NO CALLS AFTER 9:00 PM.(770)482-9019 Date Placed: 05-MAY-04 do you guys know anything about them? Have him join the MCCI, through the main site. Along with this board, that is the best way to access the classifieds, and get to know a lot of Maverick folks, and have access to cars and parts. Good luck!
