I know that in 1971, the Grabber came with either a 6 or a V8, and with a automatic tranny. But what kind of sticks were offered?

    3 speed and/or 4?

    thanks
    Glen

In the US, only a 3 speed. Mexico, and a few other places you could get a 4 speed.

I don't know, but someone must have swapped the 4 speed in later.

Why do you think its a 4 speed? Are you going by someone's word or did you actually drive and/or test it? Does it have a floor shifter? If it is a 4 speed, someone put it in there. I'd crawl under it to see what it really is.

Yea, I looked at a 75 Comet with a 4-speed and a 250 cid. But they still had the 3-speed in the garage.

A 4 speed is a painfully easy swap.
