Gauge cluster removal

    what is the easiest way to remove the cluster to paint the outer face and replace the bulbs?

    I've had a few
    Hardest part is getting the speedometer cable loose. If you feel around it where it connects to the back of the speedometer, you'll feel a raised part. Push down on that and wiggle the cable loose. They can be kind of stubborn sometimes, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy.. Other then that, it's just a matter of takeing the 2 screws out of the top, pulling the cluster out and disconnecting the wireing harness from the back by pushing in on the 2 clips on either end and pulling it off.
