Gas Filler neck ?

    I have a 73 Mav Grabber. It looks like someone at some time removed what I would think to be an exclusion device from the inside of the filler neck. In doing so It appears the removed the vent tub. At least I think it should have one. When filling the tank I get blow back. Any solutions? If new filler neck is required any sources?

    The 70-74 didn't have the flap inside the neck. Get a 75-77 Maverick/Comet filler neck and this will stop the splash back. The vent valve is on the top of the tank
