    how many gallons should my gas tank hold?

    I believe early tanks were 15 gal and the 75 up were 18 or 19 gal

    so my 74 would have a 15 gallon tank? on the parts intercahnge list it list a 19 gallon tank from a 1976 granada/monarch...it has it listed as a conversion for 1976-77 maverick but could the conversion work on a 74 mav?
