Well, the infamous Southeastern/Georgia mini-meet is now history, and a think a good time was had by all. Nature gave us a beautiful day, and the folks that attended were treated to a million Mustangs, and other Ford fare, and some pretty good racing. My thanks to all that attended, and I am already thinking about how we can make it a better meet next year. If you have some suggestions, pls let me know. Here are a few pics of the cars (didn't get many of the folks there....too busy talking and looking).
Our friend Ray Roland (IHRA Record Holder) and his Dad came by to talk and look in on things with his Maverick. Here are a few more. Enjoy!
Craig; it was a bit cold in the morning, but about 10am or so it began to warm up nicely. It got to about 75degrees, and not a cloud in the sky. Good event! I will have the banner to you this week, thanks for sending it. Earl
Looks like a great turn out. Thanks for the pics. Those really gave me the bug to get our Mavericks out.
It was windy. Fifty degrees can be cold with a stiff wind. Those were my daughters under the blanket. They didn't think they would need the jackets that Mom suggested that they take. Ain't if funny how that works?
Looks like it was a great event! So many nice cars! I can't wait till I can get to some shows, and show off the new Comet!
Is it time to go back yet??? ..... how about now???? Geez I can't wait for next year!! We'll have our Mav there and seeing several trucks in the show like mine, I might just bring my truck with me to.
