On another note, I was made aware recently that there was an FFW mini meet that there were no Maverick class awards. I contacted Bill Alexander and made sure that this was rectified. At any future FFW events, there will be one stock and one modified Maverick class award. If for some reason this doesn't happen at a FFW meet, please let me know ASAP. A while back, there were a few that had expressed some displeasure at the fees charged to be in the showfield at FFW events. I fully understand that $50 is a bit of money and it comes hard to all of us. This fee is for the complete weekend and so if you look at it in that light, it isn't really that much. This was one of the issues I discussed with the Board and it was decided that we wouldn't ask for preferential treatment. Bill A. is good to us and it wouldn't be appropriate especially with the number of other clubs that attend these events and just go with the program. As I find out info on issues that affect the Club, I'll forward them to you. I believe that by improving communication to all of you, we can make things even better here.
