front humps on 302

    I know this isnt a mexican 302 block but was just wondering if anybody elses 302 block had these humps on their blocks

    Don't recall ever seeing them, what are the casting numbers ?

    I forgot what the casting numbers where but last time I had checked them online, it said it was a 79 block. Ive been looking online and cant find any other blocks with them so I checked 289 blocks as well and nothing still

    Some of the 79 blocks had the big main caps like the Mex blocks. The casting suffix is A3A Prefix is D8VE. Also has a boss cast above the rear main for a crank position sensor.
