front hood trim:calling all mavericks!!!!

    anybody know where i can finda hood front trim piece. mine is all dented up(v shaped)thanx(y)

    thats a hard to find piece in good condition.they bring good money when you do find one.

    All of my front end chrome/trim pieces will be available eventually. Just depends on how patient you are. I'll start the disassembly process in January some time. Actually all of my chrome pieces on the whole car will probably be for sale or trade. I'll have to see how I like it without them first. The front end is a definite though, as the whole dog house if being replaced with fiberglass.

    I think someone makes a repop of this trim. The trim on my 74 looks brand new & it is stamped on the bottom MADE IN CANADA. This has to be a brand new piece. It is just too bright & perfect. Any ideas?

    Mike that is a Ford piece. I believe all of them are stamped Made in Canada, mine is NOS from Ford and is stamped that way.

    My 74 must be NOS then, however my 73 has no stamp?

    It's not chrome. It's anodized aluminum. You can have yours redone or polished

    All mine say Made In Canada .... Aparantly whoever Ford contracted to make them was north of the border ....

    Ford must have had quite a few parts made in north of the border. I noticed on a set of door panels it said Allen Industries, Made in Canada
