front disc brake question

    1972 Maverick 351w swap, 1965 Mustang 355 glide, 1993 civic daily driver
    I am going to put the front disc brakes on my maverick tomorrow. I was wondering if there was a specific torque setting or just tighten them hard as you can

    where it bolts to the a frame and tie rod

    sounds like upper and lower ball joints and tierods. Ball joints as tight as you can get but remember to install cotter pins. tierods are only 3/8 stud usually so about 30 lbs of torque on a wrench. Again put cotter pins in. You may have to tighten or loosen to aligh holes with the groove in the castle nuts.This is what i do and have never had any problems, Knock on Wood:tiphat:
