Dang right they're quick. I remember...sitting at a stop light when I had the SVO. Guy next to me wanted to run 'em. So we did, and I got my butt handed to me (and the SVO wasn't a slouch...).

BUT they're only quick if the driver knows how to drive a turbo car. Someone with no experience in a turbo car will be 10 times slower than someone who has had one & raced one before! The SRT's are fast from a roll but only if they can keep the boost up, especially if they've been modded with a bigger turbo (more lag). From a dead stop they can be kind of challenging to launch without bogging the motor or smoking the tires. It's all about how you use the clutch. Slipping it will bring the best results. But don't be scared...they are quick but they ain't nothing to write home about. A good built 302 in a Maverick will eat 'em up.

If it's a stockish SRT4, he should be in the mid to high 13s.

Let us know how it turns out!!

Local guy here has a yellow and black one pushing 425hp on the dyno, I saw the sheets. Sticker on the rear bumper says " Come on, it's JUST a Neon".
