Other than eyeballing to see an obvious bend or damage, are there measurements I can use as a back yard mechanic to see if the frame rails on a vehicle are straight? I'm sure taking it to an alignment shop is the best way to go, but this is a vehicle I'm considering purchasing and I know it has been in a collision. It is registered as a salvage vehicle and I was going to use it for parts, but the floor and torque boxes are rock solid and is easily restorable as long as the frame is straight. Thanks in advance
