Kind of a surprise. Found it under my seat when I was going to get it repaired.
    Whats under your seat?

I found mine under my seat, and it was brittle, and almost fell apart in my hands trying to get it out.

I think I have it stored away somewhere safe.

I don't remember where that safe place is, now that i think about it...:hmmm:

    Very nice!!!!

Mine was under my seat, but it was placed diagonally under three rows of springs ... someone worked extra-hard to get it there. The springs chopped it up a bit, but I recovered about 80% of mine and glued it up to a piece of cardboard.

I found mine under my seat a few years ago but the paper was bleached out so badly that it looked like a slightly stained blank sheet of paper. I was kinda bummed out about that, it would be cool to have it with the info on it.

First time I drove my Maverick with the windows down (no A/C).... mine blew out from under the seat in many many tiny pieces.

Those build papers are actually caller "broadcast tickets". There is a broadcast ticket sent with each car and each sub assembly area so workers know what to build and for what rotation number there part are for. Seats were built up for each car on a sub assembly area and then sent to the final line in rotation to meet the car. A ticket was tucked under the seat so the seat install worker could comferm the proper seats for that car!

My '74 Grabber had 2 of them. One under the seat, and one under the carpet taped to the toe board on the passenger side. They were identical. My dad found three of them in his old '71 Comet. One was for his car, and the other two were for two other Comets.
