I found a 72 Torino in pretty much unmolested condition at my local salvage yard. Has a 250 I6 with 3 speed column shift, 3:00 open rear (coil spring). Body is rotted away and interior is worn out. Front bumper is very nice so I will pull that for ebay fodder. Question is - will the radiator and fan shroud fit the Maverick? Any other parts for the Mav I should be looking for from this car?

Wheels are gone - but it is a disc brake car. I'm going over there right now to give it a better look over and see what he wants for the bumper, radiator and shroud.

OK - just got back. - The radiator is not original and was "rigged" up to fit. Engine and tranny look complete. Not much else on the car to save.

    Look for mirrors

The Torino Sport or Gt's model or a option for Talledega Mirrors. Look for these. They look like the traditional Ford sport mirrors but they are slightly more pointed and tapered. I have a set from a 73 Torino on my maverick. It has a longer base then the original mirror or the sport. I placed the rear mounting stud in the mirror in the original front hole in the door. I drilled a new front hole and welded over the original rear hole. I like it them better than the regular sport mirror.
