flex plate bolts.

    I think I got it right, an automatic transmission (ford c4) has a flex plate? my question is, would you reuse flex plate bolts from 1969. they have been living tin the trunk for years. worth it to just replace them? what would you do?

    I've never bought new flexplate bolts. Never lost any either on a Ford. Pontiac ? Now that's a different story. If they'll clean up with a wire wheel and aren't pitted in the threads, reuse em.

    Never used it on these bolts, but do use thread sealer on the roller 5.0's. Just torque em.
