paid 100 bucks and 50 for towing... looks like some kids ran up the trunk and jumped on the roof so theirs a huge dip... looks like it has been hit on right side (not in pic)

    things to do...
engine, transmission, rear end, brake lines, gas lines, things of the sort..
cheep buckets, mabey floors.. havent gotten a good look yet at the floors
steering wheel and ignition if i cant find the keys

i have to say i was suprised to see a brand new spare tire in the trunk... and 2 horns up front

    4 lug 70 maverick 200 6 cylinder

its ruff but i love it for 100 bucks:Handshake

If you decide to work that dent out...Start from the outer edges of it and work your way in to the middle.Start with the sharp creases and GENTLY knock them out.If you get the sharp bends out the rest of it will fall into place as you work em.Dont try to get it flat and straight (you wont) Just work all the dents out.You will end up with more steel than the car started with when done(due to stretching of the metal) from the dent.So low spots are to be expected.Unless the car is really solid...I would say parts car as well...or convertible conversion...Have fun!!!

Justin, you used the word restorable in your question, so I have to say "Parts car".

If you had said "fix it up for a driver", I'm with you, and say "Have fun".:Handshake

That is not a restoration candidate. There are too many rust free bodies in the Southwest to even consider spending more than $1500 in body work and panel replacement.

Have fun, do the safety stuff first. Meaning brakes, suspension, lights, etc.

If you've got the money to spend, I'd say look for a better starting point and part this car out. :)

Up here it might make a project car. In your area I would say parts car and get a better car to build.
