So I went yard Saling this morning. And my local senior Centre was holding one. So I thought hey might as well see what they could have. Turns out I bought myself a little baggy full of maverick sew on patches. And a little dinky maverick toy car. All for 3$. Not too bad I'd say. Do this little old lady walks up n says 3$ please. So I hand her a 5 n say keep the change. As I was about to walk away she stops me and says, so you like the little maverick do ya? So I turn around. Like? I love the car. So I explain to her my project I have going on and she invited me over on the weekend. She said. "Well if you like those so much maybe there's something a little bit bigger I can sell you then that might catch your eye" Maybe it's a little maverick? Maybe even a grabber? Fingers crossed.
Did she call you "Sonny"? If she comes out wearing only a robe and starts climbing into the back seat you might have to think twice about what you're willing to pay! Keep us posted...
