Here are pics of my car when I brought it home and after it went to the body shop for ding removal and paint.
Here are a few more pictures Hopefully I will be getting it back soon to put er back together to drive it.
Hi, Craig! Yes I will be repainting it the same color green. The door jambs and under the trunk are pretty clean so I wanted to stay with the same color. The theme will be the dark green with silver. I will be painting the back panel around the spoiler you sold me silver. I might be painting the hood with silver stripes in a 70 grabber style. The side stripes will be put on hold for a later time. After it comes home I'll be switching to 5 lug front and rear so I can put on some nice wheels and tires. It runs great so nothing but a good cleaning under the hood and the interior was mint! Bob
At my age the working factory AIR was the selling point! I still have two unopened 30 lb cans of R12 freon left from the old days. It should keep me cool for quite a while. Bob
These pictures of a Mustang from an ebay auction kinda sway'd my choices to keep it the original green and go with the silver accents.
Its funny you should post a reply. Your car is my wallpaper on my computor! Blue is my favorite color, especially the blue you went with. If I was going to change the color I was going to contact you about your car and color. I also like the way it sits. What did you do to the chassis and what are the wheel and tire sizes? Thanks ... Bob
Wow you dont want to get caught up here with that stuff. We arent permitted to service R12. It must be drained and converted. All freon is recorded and can be tracked if audited. We dont see r12 cars anymore though. I did one last year. Converted to 134 and off he went. Gravy money.
One sealed canister is factory Ford, the other is a Brand X I believe made in Canada if I remember correctly! I need to keep one for my two antique Coke Machines (1954 & 1958).
