IT WAS GOOD TO SEE EARL AT THE CAR SHOW, HIS WAS THE ONLY MAVERICK BUT THERE WERE SOME OTHER FORDS THERE, IT USUALLY IS A SMALLER SHOW COMPARED TO OTHERS IN THE AREA, SOME NICE 30'S ERA AND SOME HOT RODS, MY DIGI BATTERY WENT DEAD WHEN WE GOT THERE SO NO PICS. ANOTHER NOTE, IN THIS WEEKS NATIONAL DRAGSTER IN THE SUPER GAS SECTION WAS A WHITE 72 MAVERICK- JAMES JONES FROM MISSION,CO. I THINK, HE WAS DOING VERY WELL IN TO THE ELIMINATIONS AND WAS FINALLY ELIMINATED BUT WHAT A GOOD SHOWING FOR US FORD GUYS!! IF ANYONE WANTS TO COME TO THIS SHOW EARLY ON THE FIRST SAT OF THE MONTH THEN MAKE A POST AND WE CAN HAVE A MINI MEET FOR DINNER AND DO THE SHOW, THERE'S SEVERAL GOOD RESTURANTS AND PICADILLY HAS A SEAFOOD BUFFET ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND THEY ARE ACROSS THE PARKING LOT FROM THE SHOW!!! YUMMM!
why is it always "somewhere to eat" with you "north georgia boys"? count me in if they have "pancakes"...frank...
Wayne; we scored a trophy at the show , and the car was generally well received. Lots of folks asking lots of questions. Still, the only one there. Very nice to see you and your wife, and talk a bit. Take care,
Great Job Earl!!!!!!!!! That's Great. What Was The Trophy For? A Class Or General Trophy? Good To See You To.
Thanks everybody, it was a lot of fun. Wayne; it was a general trophy, I think. Hard to tell, as all of them were the same, except the Best of Show trophy. The Fairlane with the Boss 429 and 14/71 blower got that.....and he had already left. Beautiful car!
Yeah That Engine Would Be Sweet In A Maverick, That One On The Stand In The Back Of P/u Seemed A Little Iffy At Best! With Oil Leaking Down The Side Of The Head...i Don't Know. Glad You Won Earl, Lets See 2 Trophy's For The Georgia Boys In A Matter Of A Couple Of Weeks, Dan And Now You... Georgia Rocks..................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
