The Wife and my son bought me a Stereo and the Speakers for my 73 Grabber. It currently does not have a stereo in it, just a broken Original AM radio. I got to pick it out and it's got all the bells and whistles. It's got the USB jack in the front, plays MP3 and WMA format music from CD or USB stick, Ipod compatible, Picks up HD radio (does song tagging), Satelite compatible, Removable face plate and remote control (never really have figured out he remote control for a car stereo but it's got one LOL) Also got a really nice set of Kenwood 6 x 9 x 5 way speakers for the back and a nice set of 3 inch x 3 way or 5 way (can't remember) for the front
Now all I got to do is wait until the temp and humidity aren't both right around 95 Degrees and 95% and then get my Lazy arse in gear and install them. Man this is going to be like the 5th or 6th Stereo I have installed in a Maverick. LOL I should be able to do it in my sleep by now, but with 20 some years in between the first 3 or 4 and the last two maybe not. Can't wait to have some Jammin' tunage in my V8 Grabber. I have spent the last 2-1/2 years listening to the Rumble of that engine. It's just time for some Music. LOL
hd,usb stick, wma format? Man i got to get up with the times. what ever happen to "tune it in and rip knob off"?
Sounds like my JVC. A buddy of mine has a 65 comet with the factory radio in the dash still. He added a dealer option AC unit under the dash and moved his cd player under the dash on the passenger side so it is out of the way..... He uses his remote all the time :bananaman
i got a remote for my stereo when i put the 5 point harness in the car. when straped in i cant reach the stereo.
Now thats funny! Just put my stereo in yesterday along with the new radiator and went for a ride listening to Ac/Dc and Aerosmith, it's and Audiobahn with all the bells and whistles ....even a remote lol.
