Does anyone have tips for removing the driver-side exhaust manifold flange nuts during engine removal? My skills were insufficient to get the top bolt off. I had to use a Sawzall and cut the exhaust pipe.

Typically use a long socket with wobble extension bar or two and works fine.

Soaking it a couple of times with some penetrating oil, then try the socket and breaker bar on it.
