Exhaust Manifold Collector Spacer

    hoping someone can tell me what this is called and where i might find one. it looks like a spacer between the exhaust pipe and the manifold. you can see it in the pic in this ebay ad. i recently acquired a drivers side manifold due to the generosity of a forum member (thanks again rick) and i lack about the thickness of that spacer to connect it to my existing exhaust pipe. would sure like to avoid going to a muffler shop. thanks.

    looks to me like where they cut the exhaust pipe and left a short piece on the manifold. some do this so they don't have to deal with taking the rusted nuts off the manifold.
    your exhaust pipe will have to have the collector flange to mount it. any muffler shop should have these. just take your manifold in with you so they can get you the correct ones.
