Engine surge

    I have a 1986 HO 302 in my maverick. it surges like the engine is not smooth. rpm's are consistant at idle but it only does it sometimes dont know what to do.:hmmm:

    If this is a carbureted engine you need to replace your main jets with two jets that will be two sizes larger.
