Need your help. I have a g3 alternator on my mav I am using a 8 gauge charging wire from alt. to solnoid works fine but due to high elect. demand I have installed a 4 gauge with a 200 amp. maxi fuse inline from alt. to solnoid now with 4 gauge wire in line alt. will NOT charge all cables ( 4 gauge ) ohm out ( 0.1 ohms ) I have also bypass the maxi fuse no charge but when I reinstall the 8 gauge wire will charge .

I have no clue what is going on ... Jay

Punctuation would make your post easier to understand. You should be running a 4 AWG charge wire with that alternator. Changing the gauge of the charge wire shouldn't have an affect on the alternator turning on. Where are you picking up your key-on voltage source?
