Do you want the electric water pump drive kit or an electric water pump? Moroso has a good water pump drive kit. I have used it before and had good results. I also have used the Meziere electric water pump and am happy with that. Keep in mind that if something happens to either and you're on the road, you're out of luck as most auto parts stores do not carry replacements for these.
i saw the morso drive kit in my jegs catalog and was just curious. did u use tha drive kit on a factory water pump?
I used it but it was on an aftermarket water pump that I got from Summit. Actually, I still have it. It never gave me a problem.
Yep...works fine on a stock pump. Only issue I ever had was I sheared the face of the plastic drive pulley on the electric motor off at a race once...was just a defective part. I got gun shy after that and went with a totally electric WP for the new engine. Never had cooling issues with the drive kit though...
When I had mine on the race car I always carried a spare, just in case. The only time iI used it was when a friends wife had one go out on her car. I think there pretty reliable, but something can always happen. Not sure if there's any advantage on a street car though.
