EGR valve

    1974 Mav 2 dr 250 6 cylinder
    I rebulit the carb on my 74 mav and noticed that the egr valve is cracked. Will this cause the car to fail emmissions? How could something like this crack?:slap:

    If the car is run on a roller to check emmisions then it will fail for NX.
    These crack and erode from direct exhaust that is ported up through the center of the intake from one center exhaust port.
