HA.. thats funny, I was just looking on Worlds site to see what they look like, I'm cylinder head shopping, and since I already have the headers I need to know also.

They won't work on RHS Pro-Action Heads without some "tweaking". Spark plug angle is the problem. I will be curious about the World Heads.

Just to clear somethings up here is a list of heads that these headers will bolt up to without problems w/ spark plug issues (that I know of so far...)

    Stock '68 to '79
    Stock E7
    AFR 165
    AFR 185
    AFR 205
    Edelbrock Performer
    Edelbrock Victor Jr.
    Dart Sr.
    TFS Street Heat
    TFS Twisted Wedge
    strike force aluminum heads

The heads that will require some modification to headers (that I know of so far)...

    RHS pro action
    gt40p

dart jr's (dart recommends that you just use a 276s accel plug for extra clearance) This tells me that they tweeked the spark plug angle a little.

These were designed on a traditional ford head with stock port and spark plug location.

If I forgot a head on either list please let me know and I will update the list :yup: .

Glad to hear the AFRs are not a problem. That is what I am getting when I rebuild my engine.

And there is nothing you can do to the headers (at least on the hookers and hedmans) to fix the plug clearance issues. You just have to take the header off the driver side to do anything at all with the plugs, and you need a spacer, and you need shorty plugs...

How different is the shape of the thorley headers near the plugs?

I'd like more info on these heads. Thats a good thing as far as the plugs cause its a pain on the world heads.

Sorry to bring this thread form the dead.. I wanted to see if there was any up-to-date info on the dart Jr/Sr head to header issue... back in the day, I had a local muffler shop tweak my hooker comp header to fit my seniors.. Now my girlfriends 65M has windsor Jr.'s and the same issue.. she currently has comps also.. just seeing if any affordable header out there that clears these heads.. if not save up for some supers I guess...
