i have a 74 mav and for the life of me cant find where the belly bar gos dose any body have any pics mounted on there car .i looked threw every post cant find any thanks bob
It goes under the oil pan,there should be one hole on each side,I installed one on my 1970 maverick 250 inline 6 from a 1973 maverick,it fit perfectly I have no pics though its easy to install don't worry
Takes special countersink head bolts, Mustang supply houses sell them. If you search on here there are various sources listed.
To properly locate the bar with the right tension. There are guys that have done it half-a$$ed and used regular bolts but it's not right. If they weren't necessary Ford would never have spent the money to use them in the first place.

yep know wat you mean.they look like vw lug nuts.its like useing regular lug nuts with out the bevel you can do it but wouldnt recommend it
