unbelievable That looks great. I love the wheels. It sure is great to see somebody's mav comin together as beautifully as your is. Good Job! Keep it up! Keep posting pics. -Todd
To each his own, Runum, but I would HAVE to put a 302 in that beauty! Any particular reason you chose not to?
Thanks Rick for the kind words. The I-6 is in there intentionally. The car belongs to my 16 year old nephew and his Mom is not up for a V-8 of any kind right now. The shock towers have already been cut back and the subframe connectors have already been welded in. Future plans may include a 351W if he can maintain some self control on the street.
jeeez, your really after it. guess i better get moving. it looks great man!! cant wait to see it on the road
Thanks guys. I would like to have it finished toady but other things come up. It looks like we won't make the Power Tour like we had planned. We still have way too much to do. I just wish my 72 Mav. I had when I was about 19 looked like this one. Greg
VERY NICE!!!!! and i too would have loved to start out with a good looking car like that!! and i too know the whole "no V8 starting out, but maybe some day" thats the same thing i went threw with my mom, hell she's still nervous with a 9 second street car "you dont need that fast of a car on the street" i always tell her no, i need it a little faster LOL but what color is that if i may ask?
The color is Dodge Viper red. Yeah Jeremy I was really surprised at how it jumps out copmpared to other reds. It wasn't may choice of colors to go with but it seems to work with the rest of the car well. Thanks guys.
