I'm having a problem with the door locks. I installed the original exterior door cylinders and new door handles. The handles open the doors as they should. I push the lock down and the door doesn't open, good. I pull door lock up and door doesn't open, bad. I have to reach in and push a lever to release the lock. In other words pulling up on the door lock does not "unlock" the door. This is a problem on both doors! Of note,
I installed new door handles from autokrafters and found that the hardware does not fit. I had to transfer the old hardware from the original handle to get proper fit. Not sure if this is part of the problem, any ideas?

Door handle rod not hooked up right

I had the same problem when I installed mine. The door would lock but wouldn't unlock. I had my locking rod routed wrong going to the push button. Check your lock rod and make sure it is routed right. Also they are adjustable. Make sure that it is travling far enough that the lock piece will reset. I hope that this helps.

Thanks Rob, it was the adjustment on the rod. It wasn't allowing the lock to reset.
