My door hinges are complaining a bit and I've been told that WD-40 is not a good product for this area because it will damage the paint. Is there another product, like liquid wrench or silicone lube, that works well for door hinges but won't harm paint?

Try white lithium grease or a good bicycle chain lube with teflon in it.

Silicone spray will not eat up rubber, plastic and paint like WD-40 will.

Yeah there's definitely some vertical play in the front hinges. So how do I get the original pins out?
