Dome light trouble

    Dome light lens turned to dust trying to get if off :rofl2: Dome light doesn't work but the map lights work. Check bulb it's good but replaced it any way. Fuse good but change it any way. How do I fix this

    Check the switches in the door. Then check the light switch. Not for sure, but a lot of those old light switches had a fuse on the top of them.

    Check the fuse. Try turning it on from the headlight switch. See if you have power to the inner contact where the bulb goes. If you have power, one of the screws that hold the fixture on has a ground strap under it. Unscrew it and clean where it contacts the screw and then replace the screw and try the light again. This is a simple circuit! You will either have no power or a bad ground. :)
