Can anyone tell me what flywheel came in my 71 ford maverick? It has a factory 302 with a C4 auto,Im pretty sure it is a 26 spline also?? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? i bought a converter that fit a Mustang TCI part#451100 and wondering if it will fit.Heres what the TCI website says ....1970-up Ford C4, 10.5" bolt circle, 26-spline, dip stick goes into transmission case

if it's a stock 71 c-4 then it's a 26 spline. not sure wether it takes a 10.5 or an 11.5 flexplate though. do you know if it's the small or the large bellhousing. the 10.5 will fit the small bellhousing. if it's athe large bellhousing it takes the 11.5 convertor. the small bellhousing has the ribs on top that go all the way back and the larger one only goes partway.:)try this site http://www.mustangcentral.net/tech/c4.html
