NON POWER DISC BRAKES - NON POWER DRUM master cylinders:

Are there actual different master Cylinders for '76 Maverick non - power drum vs non-power disc?. I haven't been able to find any listing for MC - NON POWER DISC different from NON POWER DRUM MC's.

    thanks

... IF they are the same, how does it work without actual proportioning valve . The 'pressure differential valve/switch just lights up dash warning and doesn't alter MC pressures.

    haev fun

In '76, all Mavericks had disc brakes up front. The power m/c is different from the non-power. The all used a proportioning valve.

I have Granada discs up front and factory drums out back. After swapping a late non-power MC, the rears were locking up a bit early, and I added a Wilwood adjustable prop valve.

As a side note, you will need the shorter rod from your original MC. The disc MC rod is too long. Do a search, there is a good discussion here on how to swap them.
