i seen this ad in my area, is it something that would work with my 73 mav? 1969 1970 Mustang Cougar Disk Brake Front End Complete w/ Spindles - $1 (berkeley north / hills)
The spindles and brakes will bolt right on. They made a mistake in the ad though. 69 Stangs used the small bearing spindles and 70s used large bearing spindles. I don't know if 73 Mavs used large or small bearings. That is where you might hit slight differences. Nothing you can't overcome though. My 72 had small bearings, my 75 has large bearings. So, if you have stock rims, and small bearings, your rims will not fit over the hub of rotor of the 70 discs. The 69s can use a small bearing rim. The large bearing rim will fit either, or if you have aftermarket rims, they will fit either. The tie rod ends might have a different bolt too. In short, they will bolt right on. You may or may not need to get tie rod ends (cheap), and you may or may not have trouble fitting your stock rims over the hub.
