I decided to run the Maverick Sunday at Kennedale, instead of the Mustang, since my Daughter was working I had a chance to race "her" race car. I won Street, running mid 9.'s (1/8) only once had to get close to the dial. I came home and told her there is nothing wrong with the car! She did not like that, now maybe she will try harder and go more rounds...
Yep Don, you are right! When I had a .110 light the other guy had a .180, I was only worried in the final, was racing a Super Cobra Jet Torino, driven by another long time bracket racer, and Beat The Heat officer, Mac Sibley. His car had a slight hesitation off the line, which killed the light for him. These races are real fun, they group the cars close by ET, mine was 8.90-9.90 class, so there are no big spots, REAL easy to judge the finish line. Was different to foot brake again, and in a car just put together (was a six before) so I didn't have much practice in it.
