    You have to give credit to the guys and girls down in Braaazil for trying different approaches to Maverick builds.

    Don't know how many of you have seen this installation. Doesn't appear to be operational at this time.

    LOL my 1st engine!!! Had a '57 with a 292...

    In first pictures it looks to be complete, plug wires , radiator etc hoses are all in place... Maybe the progression is reversed and last pictures are the start of instal?? Of course I don't see any oil leakage(that's what Y blocks do best), so you may well be right about it not running... Engine is kinda high in front, U joints are going to be suffering...

    If you're familiar with Brazil, the 292 will come of no surprise... At end of 1966 model year Ford shipped all the Galaxie tooling to Brazil to build full size models... Clinker was they only built the 272 & 292 down there for trucks so all those cars, built into the '70s-(actually early '80s I believe) had Y blocks so they are somewhat plentiful... At least compared to 302 as those were all imported from US or Canada...
