   I have 69 302 heads (C9OE). There is a strange "bump" type thing in the upper right corner of the exhaust ports. Is it ok to grind that thing out?

   You betcha, air injection bump, get rid of it. Its the casting for the air injection. Its the first thing to go to open up the old heads.
