my friend wants me to ask you guys a question

[quote from friend] would work if the cutout diameter is not as big as the exhaust piping, but if i were to put the piping over the cutout and weld it there, would there be back pressure and/or a change in the sound of my muffler from this, do i have to have one which the piping goes in the cutout and not outside over it?[quote from friend]

    thanks....

If it is a non performance build that will work out just fine. I started my career as an exhaust fabricator 15 years ago. If it is a performance build the less restiction possible is desired. It will change the tone a bit. i've done some pretty inventive stuff with exhaust.....
