First, I'd like to thank those of you who have been consistent customers throughout the year- we really appreciate your business!

Next, I want to qualify this post: These first pics are crapola- I took them with my phone in the last 10 seconds before I went out the door of the shop because I was excited to get some posted up on here, lol. I WILL take a bunch of detailed, clear pics over the thanksgiving holiday.

Lastly, before we get to the pics- aside from the prototype set I have installed (and functioning fantastically!) on my own race...er- 'street' car, I also have enough parts made to make 6 additional sets. I will be making more as time allows approaching xmass. I know at least two of you have Pm'd me stating that you want dibs on several of the sets- I'd ask that you PM me once more and we'll get it done this weekend.

As promised, despite using top shelf parts and attention to assembly, detail, etc etc- I will still be selling my traction bars for $300 bucks... including the shipping within the US. Members of the military get the same rate- I think its BS to penalize an enlisted person for having an APO, etc.

My direct email for questions, orders, etc etc is mbdragracing **at** msn.com

    THANKS EVERYONE!

I know- I'm sorry! I share a digital camera with the wife...she had it with her at my oldest daughter's pilgrim/Indian farce at her elementary school when I was at work. I offered to rewrite the play for the school, but they declined:
"Here, let me relieve you of the burden of having all that land and freedom. In exchange, I'll give you, oh I don't know, how about horrific diseases? Ok ? Thats swell then and thanks for the corn."

:hmmm: They didn't like my version. weird huh? lol

In a related note: I have, in the past of my troubled youth, tried to use the "Christopher Colombus" defense when charged with stealing a car. (it belonged to a friend's mother). Which is to say: I didn't steal the car- I "discovered" it. Regardless of the fact that it was already owned by another party, it was NEW TO ME and MY FRIENDS, therefore I must have discovered it and rightfully claimed it as my own. Right?

Yea, they didn't think it was funny either.

Done. Its awesome. I will offer two versions: a triangulated brace for manual brakes and a quadrangulated brace for supercharged or power brake booster apps. I had to develop the quad brace anyway for myown car because of the blower snout. Its all done and ready to go. I'm going to get the traction bar sales off the ground first and then introduce the finished tower braces right after or perhaps just before, xmass. ;)

I dont know if they would perform any better than my preloaded slapper bars, but damn, thats a much cleaner look. Nice job. With the adjustable ends, wouldnt they fit other cars too? I dont know if I can justify that expense, but I am definitely interested in the shock tower braces. Are you gonna make a montecarlo bar that compliments the shock tower braces?

Completely. I have already done the welding in making custom mounting plates that replace the existing ones. This is not to say that you won't have to work! I use a solid race spec front bushing...so you will need to remove the existing rubber bushing and insert mine. SOMETIMES, the oem bushings are a real b*tch to get out... I have had to, on one occasion, use an air chisel to pound one out. lol Of course, if you're a knuckle dragger like me, you'll just think that all of this is part of the fun. :bananaman

Well, the quadrangular (4 point) bar setup requires the use of one, so yes. :) I have two designs for the braces, one is the typical triangulated brace which will fit MOST brake boosters, etc- the other is the 4 point rig which I made out of necessity (I run a blower) and will DEFINITELY clear any sort of power brake booster you may be running. The 4 point set up looks like the nice one you can find from *that mustang place*, except that they want double my price for the same grade and finish components.

Lastly... as far as the comparison between slapper bars and any sort of 'link bar' traction... I won't voice my opinion here because obviously, you'd have to take it with a grain of salt since I'm selling the latter... but I would encourage you to ask some of the racers that post on here. :thumbs2:

Cheers mate and thanks for the interest!

Also- Fish out of Water: Nice E-body!!
I had a 73 that we put a caddy 500" motor into- it was a brutal street racer but it wasn't NEARLY as clean as yours. (y)

So no monte carlo bar with the typical triangulated braces? I am not ashamed to say I am looking to do as little work as possible.:biglaugh:

Oh, in reguards to slapper bars vs. link type traction bars, I should have prefaced my statement with "At my performance level..."
