if you have a credit card and can order online,

    http://www.autobarn.net/xtrab100watc.html

they have the xtrabond 100% waterproof car covers that fit our mavericks. it's like 59 bucks.

    something to look into.

also, if you get a car cover locally, make sure it specifies it's 100% waterproof and not a cheaper imitation.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
no cover is water proof. and for $59 bucks, trust me, it won't last longer then 4 months outside!

the best cover out there right now is made out of NOAH and even that one is not water proof. they are about $150 plus but will last at least 3 year. better then buying a $59 ever 4 to 5 months. been there done that ;)

the only way is to plastic tarp it then pull the tarp off after the rain.

Just by chance, did you really check an make sure it's your cowl leaking? Could be windshield, antenna rubber grommet through body, door seal? You just may get lucky!
