I like some of the things they did but I can really appreciate the amount of work they have put into it. That is a pretty cool use of a 97-8 ford truck front bumper. Lots of work on that front end. I don't really care for the tail spoiler because it looks like some of the 70s exagerated stuff but again I have nothing but respect for the work that went into it. I don't really care for the caddy tail lights either, they are kind of too old school for that style of car. These are just my opinions. WOW did they set that motor back, if they get the suspension set up right it ought to really handle great, the front to rear weight should be good. Overall, I think it is really cool!!:thumbs2:

What a craftsman that guy is! Ah, to dream.....wish I could have those kind of digs. I really can appreciate people who know how to tear down, rebuild and customize like that.

Thats one way to put a bigger motor in without cutting your shock towers. And another way to replace that rusty cowl. Great work. Now for the wing, I didn't much like that, bad man that will be a sick ride when he is done.

yea, why cut the shock towers when you can cut the whole fire wall out :)

i do think they went a little too big on the spoiler but i love the front end

Wow, they've put alot of work into it, replacing the roof skin is amazing!! Not my taste in rear spoilers, but any way you look at it, loads of work!!

Lots of work done and with some great skill. Although got to question why they fixed the floor in it early on and then cut it out. Must have decided the floor was easier to cut out to fit the motor in than cutting the shock towers. Quite a ride.

    Cool website! Thanks for posting.

I ran it as a slideshow. When I saw that mod motor and then the shock towers in the next picture, I thought, "those won't be around much longer ...". Just about spit my coffee when I saw the motor under the windshield.

I think the mav would be better with headlights more like a 69 Mustang. They look cobbled-up right now. Sink them ... I think it would really pull all the other front end mods together.

Shelby taillights would look great on it too. I think a lot more of you would like the spoiler better if the lights weren't so tiny.

Check out that 57 Tbird. I am really liking that!

The 65- or so Comet on the homepage looks nice too.

While I'm in awe of all those body-mods and wish I had skill like that, I just don't care for the overall concept. Is it just me or does it no longer like a Maverick??
