Hi! I'm new to this forum. I'm considering replacing my mechanical engine fan with an electric one and I have a few questions that I didn't see answered on any other threads. First, I've seen a couple people on here who recommend using a 1995 or earlier taurus fan. Would this work or is there a better choice? Second, What additional parts would I need?

    Thanks for any feedback.

On my aftermarket radiator, the Taurus fan fit like it was made for it. The built in shroud nearly completely covered my radiator cooling area.

At least I "think" this was a Taurus fan. I don't remember exactly what car I got it off of, but this was a junkyard find.
