I have installed a B&M floor shifter and have the neutral safety and backup hooked up but the neutral safety switch on a 77 is mechanical in the column. I need a way to lock the column sleeve in "park" position with the column shifter removed. any suggestions?

Just tie the neutral start switch wires together with a butt connecter and use the switch on the shifter or transmission.

What he said! If you want to get rid of the column shift parts go get a floor shift column from a truck. That's what I did, just transfer the collar and plastic ring to your column and it's done.

tying the wires together is fair enough. Any idea which ones? the wiring diagram for 77 doesn't call them out.
