    This is the bottom.

This is the square tubing I used for the lower mount. Just big enough to fit over the strut rod and short enough not to interfere with the steering stop.

    hey!

ok im new to the forum, i had a 72 grabber when i was 16 for my first car. it was fun and it rusted away. now i baught a rust free 71 and have already build a 306, 4 speed, and started sanding her down. but i really want to modernize the suspension ass the way around. whats the best thing to do? the coil over is what i want like what you have built. but can i buy a kit or can you make me a kit? how much . i don't need it for 5 months or so lol... think you can swing it. if not can someone direct me to a site where i can buy all this stuff. new suspension, disk brakes, front and rear, rack and pinion .... ya know the good stuff,

As I recall, this was all home made. Rod and Custom Motorsports and Heidts are at least 2 companies that make modern front end kits for these cars.

well i found both of these companies your talking about, but im not actually seeing anything for a maverick, will mustang 2 stuff work, cause they have all king of cool stuff for them . if you can find it shoot me a link, i want coil over front and rear. i think i found a universial bolt on rear end style for my car but im not sure.

    hood

well the hood someone cut a huge hole in it when i got it and its sucks. and im having a hard time finding a grabber hood so im on the scout for a cowl hood. just a small one like a 2 inch or so... or if anyone knows if they make different style after market ones. that would be helpful. My goal is to have this car ifs in front and rear coil over 4 wheel disc and the interier all dont and painted in less than 4 months. big dream huh lol. ill get her done and looking pretty, and ready for the drag strip.
