chrome grill ?????????

    I found a chrome grill for a maverick in an old building at a junk yard. I never saw one on a car before. Does anyone know what year and or style maverick this grill would be from?

    and if I go back to pick it up. What should I start the bidding out at?

    The chrome grills came on LDO cars. My 73 LDO used to have one.

    I have a NOS chromed grill along with NOS chromed sportlamp doors. I bought the grill of Ebay for $38 about 4 years ago. I couldnt believe it cause I was the only bidder and that was his starting price. I was willing to spend $150 for it. I bought 1 of the doors for $40 and the other for $25. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

    I had a chrome grill on my Maverick before I found my black Grabber grill. I don't know what year the chrome grill came off of but I imagine it would have to be '73-'77...

    Actually I'd guess it was only available in 73, 74 and 75. I've seen a 76 with the LDO package and as I recall the grill was not chromed. In 76 they added that wide vertical plate in the center of the grill and just used argent to accent the horizontal lines on a blacked grill for the LDO. Anybody here got a 76 or 77 LDO to verify this?
