Neat little toy. http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1972-Ford-Pinto-Coupe-W0QQAdIdZ150526338
One of our local Ford guys has a green Pinto with a 302, I'll have to take some pic's of it. It's an awesome little car.
$15,000 In the early 80's I had '72 Pinto wagon that I put in a mild 289 w/4-barrel, TopLoader 4-speed and an 8" rear with 3.25 gears (was actually the engine and drivetrain from my Maverick at the time). Car only weighed 2400 lbs (without me), big snorkel hoodscoop, loud sidepipes, G60-14 tires in the rear = rubber in first three gears and lots of fun. I sold it for $800 'cause I didn't need three cars.
Neat car, but for that price I would expect the aluminum valve covers NOT to be badly corroded! I would still drive it though! -Scott H.
Pintos $15k. Mavericks $15k. What is this world coming to?? Sorry that the economy is in the toilet. Does anyone think thiese cars will sell for those prices??
I cant see someone paying 15 grand for it. I think that one will be a tough sell. I'd give him 5 or 6 if its really well done and I think thats pushing it.
